The machine responded "We are calling from the National Organization For Marriage.... do you believe that marriage is only between one man and one woman?"
Just for the hell of it I said, "YES!"
On it went to tell me that the institution was in peril in NY. But there's still time to save it. "Would you be willing to call your senator?"
"Yes!" (and I did, too)
They gave me Senator Alesi's number. "And would you be willing to donate money to help us...?"
Apparently voice recognition software understands, "Not on your life!"
What a horrible waste of money trying to slow down the passage of time.
